Men obviously don't work like that, our hips are angled differently than women's, and we have these things called testicles that don't super love being crushed. This just comes off as wanting to make men suffer for the sake of it, and if that solution is linked to concepts of gender equality, its a great way to nudge men dislike that idea.
Women are unlikely to enjoy all the sexual harassment they would get sitting in public in provocative positions likely leading them to dislike men more than before.
A truly feminist solution which results in worse outcomes for everyone while creating more antipathy between the genders, therefore increasing the perceived need for more feminism.

As much as I agree that this concept is beyond stupid, I think the bottom drawing may have it backwards. I think the gated piece is supposed to be a backrest and the men's chair tapers to close the legs (not the lack of the triangular bumpout at the front), but the women's chair has a triangular bumpout that permits open legged usage. In the case of having it drawn backwards, the women's chair has no benefit over the men's chair, but with the backrest orientation, there is a subtle benefit of the women's design over the men's design...
