The fact that she admitted she had an absentee father goes a long way in explaining her attitude towards men. I've known women who came from whole/intact families and love their dads, and they are a joy to know and befriend. She obviously has a lot of social and mental issues.

And this is why I warn about the nessecity of looking at what you have to assume for your worldview to make sense. Pretty much any thought pattern can be thought of as a line with a starting point. As long as you can connect a few dots you will be able to find where it stems from and without that starting point the line would be different.

Primacy of narrative over fact and rejection of evidence are key for feminism and left-wing more broadly to make sense. (note a statement of fact, rather than opinion)
