Feminists claim that a Men's movement is unnecessary, because "feminism addresses men's issues too." I feel we don't press them specifically enough- specifically where and how do feminists address men's issues? We need to start being direct, not in just telling feminists what male issues, but in asking them to demonstrate to us how specifically they are doing so.

  • Where are feminists address circumcision? When blue-checkered feminists mock circumcision on twitter, and when mods of pro-feminist subreddits trivialize and defend it, where is the condemnation from other feminists? What are feminists doing to stop unnecessary routine infant circumcision? What are they doing to educate the public about the anatomy of the foreskin and damage circumcision does?

  • what are feminists doing to address the male education gap? Are they bringing public awareness to it? Are they starting special male scholarships?

  • what are feminists doing to equalize pension ages in countries where men have higher ages? So far, all I see is either silence, or protesting equality

  • What are feminists doing to make the justice system treat male victims of domestic violence fairly? So far, again, all I see is silence, or 'gendered' models such as the duluth model which quasi-legalize a woman's domestic violence against men.

I could go on.

And on.

And on.

This is usually where feminists backtrack and say

"well, feminism isn't about men."

"Stop making it all about men."

"This is just a what about teh menz"

But those disingenuous retorts don't work- afterall, it was feminists themselves who said "who don't need a mens movement, because feminists help men to."

Lastly, people say "why do MRAs obsess over feminism? It seems you care more about being anti-feminist than helping men." It is because whenever we try and help men, nobody fights against us more fiercely than feminists do. Feminists do more to stop our efforts than anyone else. I don't find myself debating any other ideology/party combined than feminists, when it comes to male issues.

I'll finish by saying I know there are many people who identify as feminists who have good intentions and support equality. Unfortunately, many of these people are victims of misinformation, or their voices are simply too small to be heard. It should be clear that any good men's movement is not anti-women, but rather, in favor for equality for all.
