I’ve found a man who is a good and just leader, with a good heart, who aligns with me in opinions, sexual energy, and dedication to God. We met over Reddit, and something clicked to where we wanted to just keep talking to each other. And the Reddit messages turned to texting, turned to phone calls, to him reading to me every night. We’ve been absolutely addicted to talking to each other- spending 6+ hours a night discovering how we think and feel. After 2 months of this we imagine a beautiful future together- we both never want to stop. I know he knows everything I’d want my future children to know, I know he’d be such a good father, and through his tender heart yet strong sense of the world, he’d also be a good husband.

He is however, a poor man, and I am very well off. He is 15 years older than me, which I worry is taboo, yet it also feels right. Before I let myself really plan on being with him, I need him to be on track to make enough money for supporting a family, because we both want me to homeschool the children. He and his family live 5 hours from mine, so that is also something else to think about.

And that is where all my hesitation comes from. Because I know that he is the type of person I want to have a family with. He is patient, kind, level headed, understanding, intelligent, and has such a loving heart. And his values and opinions are my own.

He is going to do the same fast track as I did for my career, because he wants to rise to this occasion so he can have and take care of me. He is wrapping up things with his families business so he can start. I have made the decision that I want to wait to see all of this in action, and in the mean time we keep talking and drawing closer to each other.

It feels stupid to wait for a fundamental like money to manifest to allow myself to be with a man that I so strongly admire for everything in his heart and mind. But it’s what my heart and instincts are telling me to do, and I need to pray about it more but it seems to be what God is wanting me to do.

Tldr: most compatible man I’ve ever known is going to try to get the career to support our future together, and I think I should wait for that, but logically I’m not sure if that’s right. Currently leaning towards going against logic.

Advice and feedback and thoughts are welcomed. Thanks
