Most people naturally switch between being dominant and submissive or are otherwise in the middle. For those who are at one end or the other, we see that it isn't particularly clear cut by gender. Cuckolding is rarely a fetish performed by dominant men, it's mostly submissive men who like it for obvious reasons. Indeed, it's actually a fetish that's far more common in men than women, although I couldn't give you a definite answer as to why. (If you're talking about just plain cheating, that hurts everyone the same. It destroys anyone's sense of being desirable, masculine or feminine, and is a huge betrayal no matter what. Someone who's submissive puts a lot of trust in dominant partners and breaking that trust is awful.)
