Because the labor force participation rate among US men 25-56 years old (AKA prime working years & our most able-bodied years) is 89.2%. Whereas women’s labor force participation rate for the same ages is 77.5%.

That means there are nearly 20 million more women aged 25-56 who are unemployed than men of the same age.

US men don’t have the time to march in the streets. We’re working.

If we try to take off time to participate in protests, we will be fired. In the US we have very little worker protections; we can be fired without cause as long as the employer says it was a “business decision”, it’s legal. They don’t have to give a real reason in most states. They do not have to have legitimate cause.

So, for a man to go off and protest during economically productive hours is to put his entire life on the line. And if that man is married with children, or has humans dependent on his income even when unmarried, it’s not only his own life he puts on the line but the life of his partner, or children, or elderly parents, or extended family, or so many others.

So many men are depended upon as the sole source of income for an unreasonable number of family members.

We don’t have the economic freedom to spend time protesting. We have to generate income because if we don’t, it’s likely that many others will suffer from our lack of income.

Any time we spend not generating income or household labor is time we are accused of wasting.

In order for those kinds of protests to be effective, you need to have the mainstream media on your side. That's simply not the case for the MRM.

Remember the 'climate strike' protests in Europe vs the 'trucker convoy' in Canada.

To make matters worse: If you do physical protest in the street, there's always the risk of infiltration. Some group opposed to your cause comes to your protest and starts trouble and it gets blamed on your movement.

I think that's why... it's the smart thing to do.

I have submitted several posts to this sub about what us men as individuals can do. But they are getting deleted by the moderators here. For example I posted how men in the US should approach marriage. It was an actionable plan about what to do instead of just crying about it. Got deleted.

Maybe posts by others are being deleted too.

So I have been looking at other places where we can organize, in addition to posting grievances.

I think we’re just taught from childhood to shut up and accept how really is and just deal with it. Unlike women, asking for help or asking for compassion toward ourselves as men is rarely an effective tactic. We’re left with a lose-lose situation. Most men choose to just take the abuse and injustice and shut up because otherwise you’re seen as weak.

There is also a backlash when men issues are dicussed especially when the person speaking is male. You’re automatically labelled a mysognist or some derogatory term like incel. So yeah many men don’t speak out because of fear of hurting their reputation.

Here is deal. Doing things cost money. Many of us dont have money and need to slow the bleed. Our wives are out advancing and thus spending money so there is still a pretty good bleed of money.

This leads to recovery from work and not spending money. Increase in cost of going out to eat makes it difficult.

Speak for yourself. I do 3 things:

i look out for number 1 and number 2 (my dog and myself). If im being the best version of myself, working to improve, maintaining my life and growing, i will be a fantastic man for people to look up to. And while finding a steady partner is hard, my "list" shows that im not really struggeling for a fun time.
i allways have time to talk to a friend. Even if its a feminist, or an incel, or nether. If someone asks for my advice, time or help, i allways got an ear to listen and try to make the situation better.
if i see some bullshit, im calling out said bullshit. Luckily its not that big of a problem here in the north.

In my country speaking out against women can be hazardous to ones health. I had a friend who protested for Men's Rights, over an all female train car, he was arrested forced to sign a confession stating he was guilty of all charges and imprisoned without a trial. I support it but speaking out.. that's dangerous.

Personally, I feel like it's a good way to get me lynched in this day and age. A privileged man talking about how oppressed women are encroaching upon his privileges due to equality? Sounds like a guy who will eventually need to be put in jail. Yeah, I'd rather take the random hate I get here and there for being a guy over focused hate on my whole existence and possible threats to my life. Maybe when enough people become comfortable with the idea that men aren't really privileged, then I'll be ok with taking the risks because it'll be minimized then.

I agree. For this very reason, we need a movement for men's rights. Some feminists say that supporting them will get us equal rights. We have seen too much to believe such disinformation. Men need to get organized and demand positive change and oppose laws that favor women. Unfortunately, many men have bought into the toxic masculinity narrative and how women need to be protected. Here comes education of men and for this we also need a proper men's rights movement.

Why do you think protests do anything?

Women get support because humans are gynocentric and give women special privileges because of their gender not because of protests. If you protest for men's rights you will be ridiculed and treated with hostility in the media and by the government.

When you mentioned protest, I remembered one story, real, no fiction, I read many months ago here. Men protested for men's right issues and help, and some Evil, Female Boxers came to threaten them with violence.

Men have tried to protest and defend themselves in ways possible that cannot get them in trouble. But at what cost? Threats & Violence.

I completely understand why men are crying. You have every right to. But you must Never Back down and Give up. Justice is Gonna Win. Karma is the Most Patient Gangsta.

Man Haters must be held harshly responsible for their sins! I will never forgive them for what they do to men! And I will be a Fierce Defender of Men's rights until I am 6 feet underground!

You are the Unsung Heroes of Society. You all have suffered some form of Injustice and you have Every Right to Fight Back and Defend yourselves against the Tyranny of Feminism Virus and Injustice. Do Not be afraid to call out what is unjust and abusive to you.

The same reason Jan 6 is called an insurrection while the summer riots are "mostly peaceful protests". The Democrats control the media. So our society only pays attention to discrimination when the discriminator is in a group that votes mostly Republican and the person being discriminated against is in a group that votes mostly Democrat. So discrimination against minorities and women is evil, discrimination against whites and males is wonderful. That's why we ignore Chinese discrimination against Blacks, which I understand is horrific. Getting people angry at the Chinese would not help the Democrats. It's go nothing to do with race or gender, and everything to do with political power.
