i know about people who have used xnspy to spy on their spouses and from what I know the app has been able to prove cases of infidelity and prevent their relationship from getting any worse.

Yeah there are plenty of apps for phones that act as keyloggers and will secretly send reports to whatever email account you want to use. iPhones were more difficult in the past because they required to be jailbroken. Maybe that has changed. Android phones are easy.

Is this for catching your wife texting, sending pics,etc to other guys? This is crossing into dangerous legal territory. As tempting as it is to find a smoking gun on a phone or computer, if that device isn’t yours and there is a passcode on it, even if you know it, don’t do it. This stuff can’t be used as legit evidence for divorce.

There is an expectation of privacy and you can find yourself in big trouble for hacking. That being said, I have done such a thing years ago with an ex girlfriend that also had borderline personality disorder. I gathered more digital evidence that I ever could have imagined but in the end it didn’t change the outcome. I still left her.

Also, emotional affairs are incredibly subjective and have no bearing in a divorce proceeding.

Definitely do not do that as you don’t want to be facing criminal charges along with a divorce. Your ex could easily use that as leverage, and it will cost you the price of a criminal defense attorney as well. You can record and find out info, but do things legally and in compliance with state and federal law.

Unless there’s actual illegal activity going on it’s really irrelevant.

If you’re forced to have to interact with the other party record the interaction for your own peace of mind but if you start trying to put malware and shit on their personal property you’re opening yourself up to a lot of legal issues.
