They can succesfully be with other ugly people.

There's a lot of people who compain that it's their looks that prevent them from finding a partner and being happy. But most people aren't attractive and get with people in their looks range. There is no reason you wouldn't be able to find a mate if you stick to people who are on your level.
Attractive people also have a lot of different challenges when it comes to dating, and a lot of preconceptions and stereotypes that are attached to them because of their looks.
I feel like acceptance and not punching above your weight goes a long way.
