When I feel insecure about what my husband is doing I deliberately find something that fills my bucket. Maybe I'll watch a movie with popcorn and a drink all by myself and make sure it's one I know I'll enjoy. Or I'll read a book or get my nails done.

Do some self care when you're feeling this way. You'll feel awesome and that awesomeness will be even more attractive to your SO!

ETA your boyfriend will find you so much more attractive if he doesn't have to defend himself to you as well. He isn't alone with her having dinner or giving her advice one on one.

I think that she is truly just a friend, and it's understandable you are insecure because of what you went through. Give yourself time. He will either prove to you that he does have a female friend or two and that he is trustworthy, or time will show you in other ways why you don't need him.

If I were you I would trust him until proven guilty.

Full text: Ladies I need a sanity check from sane women 😭 My last relationship was incredibly toxic and unhealthy and I don’t know where the lines are for certain things because I’m used to toxic and immature behaviors.

My(24f) boyfriend(24m) of 8 months randomly told me that “everyone was over” At his place. When I asked who, he sent me a pic and it was his only female friend and two other guy friends. One of them has a thing with said female friend, but it’s nothing official and has never been, they’re like an item but they’re not? It’s confusing. Anyways my heart immediately sank because of my insecurities and jealousy, I don’t like the thought of another woman being in his home. She’s pretty and has a great body, i have felt insecure over her before despite my boyfriend never giving me a reason to. He doesn’t text her frequently anymore either - I was under the impression they kinda did when we first started talking but that’s since ceased. Anyway!! How would you handle this situation, is it not a big deal? I don’t know whether my feelings are correct or not in feeling disrespected right now. I don’t know how to react. :(

Why's he sending you the picture with the other girl in it?

This might not be as innocent as it seems. This could be him amusing himself...sending this picture to test how you react. I'm a man, and this guy knows damn well that sending a picture of this woman with the banging body at his house isn't some completely innocent act.

I think he did it to see your reaction. There really was no need to send a picture. It's not that difficult to text three names: John Tom Katy

Until he actually does something shady, just take a sip of tea and march your butt over there and join them in on the fun! Men and women can be friends. It's ok. I get it you had your issues in the past. It's ok. But he showed you a pic of everyone and told you that the girl is pretty much taken. In a complicated way but still. I don't see her as a threat. I get jealous too just to find out there was nothing to worry about. Seeing good signs so far.

I think you are blowing this way out of proportion and you are letting your insecurities make you the toxic one. He told you where he was, sent a pic of him hanging out with his friends that you know— the female one whom you are obsessing over is an item with a different man, and you are somehow trying to make him into the bad guy? I highly recommend therapy for your self esteem issues and you need to learn how to process your emotions in a healthy way.
