The 'idea' you are looking for is that a woman's biological contribution to the society is higher than a man's is due to the reproduction structure. If a society has 1 woman and 4 men, that society cannot reproduce (properly at least) but if a society has 1 man and 4 women, it can reproduce and grow into a big society again. Therefore, it is 'better' for a man to die rather than a 'woman'.

However, this is a huge misconception, because in the scenario where there are too few men and too many women, the society in-question will not get to use those women for reproduction. Neighbouring societies will conquer that society and those women will be used to grow other societies, not yours. In the best case you will be assimilated and in the worst case you will be destroyed due to lack of protection and manpower.

If a ship is sinking and you save a 75 YO woman but four 20 years old men drown because she was so slow, does it make any sense?

If that lady sees 90, you saved 15 years.

If these 4 men just live to 60, you saved 160 years. And there are big chances that these men will provide to their families and pay tax which participates in helping society.

But they will save her!

There's a button to message the mods https://www.reddit.com/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates/, I suppose you could try that, but the mods were a little heavy handed in pushing for the migration to https://kbin.social/m/men so who knows.

I don't like the other site myself, but it's a thing that exists if you're into that kind of thing...

Majority of the time I see ppl debunk male disposability, they point to some women in a third world country, because they confuse disposabiliy with objectification or confuse violence with disposability. In example, they point fingers to china and show that girls are aborted because sons bring in money. This really isnt female disposability but sex based objectification, where girls are seen as economic burdens, due to their "inferior" biology. Male objectifiation is subsequently at play here in china as welll, eg. men bring in more money because of their "superior" biology. This is what I think a lot of MRAs confuse male disposibility with. (btw this infanticide really only occurs in poverty striken areas, or in the case of china because of 1 child policies).

Male disposability is wrapped up with sex based objectification, yes, but its not that men are "better" biologically, its the fact that there are no drawbacks to an adult male dying, in contrast to an adult female. There is evidence of this lack of drawbacks btw, there's a paper you can find that demonstrates that the death of the father has no major impacts on the survival of the child, in contrast to the death of the mother which guts child survivability. And of course men being driven towards less safer work and having their safety measures neglected is another example. And the most blunt of them all, androcide which is taken less serious especially when perpetrated by a man.
