One critical barrier that prevents progress lf the movement is the lack of support by other men. It's already hard enough to make your voice heard by women, so when men sabotage us it really feels hopeless... They could be divided in two categories (I know it's caricatural but it's just a base for discussion) - Conservative men. I guess it's not really a surprise because it fits their ideology where men are not supposed to complain. - Progressive men. Their choice is more suprising. They claim to fight against gender stereotypes. But are also the first ones to wave off men suffering, saying that women suffer more, or that men are favored and should not complain... It's astonishing because they don't seem to realize they enforce the very same gender stereotypes they claim to fight.
What could be done to deal with them?
