Just under a year ago I met a girl through a dating app - things were going really well and I genuinely liked her, but tried to nurture it in a way where I was getting to know her properly and then maybe see how things would shape out.

Fast forward several months, she invited me to meet her family abroad. I had met her mom beforehand, but I got to meet her other sisters, her dog, and see her mom again. I felt the reason she invited me there was because she genuinely liked me.

The thing is, I've never had sex or been in a relationship and frankly I am hopeless at initiating sex or having that 'assertiveness' that's attractive. As a male I'm honestly very passive and anxious of making that move because of performance anxiety and a possible porn addiction.

Throughout the trip there were occasions where I felt like she wasn't respecting my time and making promises to do things that we didn't end up doing - don't get me wrong I still had a nice time just chatting to her mom and hanging out as it was my 1st time abroad as an adult.

During the trip she told me that she wasn't into me because she was a year older - while I said I accepted that, deep down it has really hurt. She did apologise to me by saying I'm sorry if you felt lead on and I thought this could shape out into a good friendship instead. I just felt however that if I was more 'manly', less anxious, and not ovethinking things I wouldn't have become unattractive in her eyes. She has a lot more sexual and relationship experience to me so I think I eventually showed that I was boring and not 'assertive'.

When we both got back from the trip she's been acting weird with me - she is a student and studies law, but I still feel like she has way more freedom than me since I work full-time. She'll make plans with me and flake pretty much everytime now - she sends voice messages apologising and saying she's stressed because of college, but I really think it's because she's seeing someone else and doesn't want me to know.

The thing is, I guess I'm ok with the idea of just being friends, but the whole thing of dicussing plans and doing something to then be flaked and have my time disrespected has really annoyed me - I wanted to have a go at her for it, but I don't want to fall out with her. I'm finding it really hard to communicate with her and I feel like her making these plans and faking comes across as some sort of power trip or something for her.

I really don't know if I'm ovethinking it, but the whole thing just makes me anxious - she has more sexual experience than me and has a strong support bubble compared to me, I just feel like this is some kind of game to her and it's funny, but the messages apologising seem kinda genuine but at the same time I'm like "But if you can't or don't want to hang out, then just say you don't want to or can't" - I don't see what's so hard about this?

I just feel really imasculated and wondering what I have done wrong. Am I just a loser? The main reason I don't wanna lose her is cause I don't have many friends I can see often and making new friends as an adult is hard - I also think I have a fear of abandonment. There are genuinely times I've felt like she cares about me and maybe tells white lies to spare my feelings, but I see straight though these lies and it just makes me wonder what the hell is going on?

I have this redpill thing brewing and it's making me uncomfortable, I just feel like there's mind games going on for some reason and I don't get why because I thought we both agreed to be friends? We haven't had a proper conversation or hang out in ages and I feel like I have to just distance myself and just endure the pain I'm feeling right now because I feel like I won't get a straight answer - if I respond with anger I think it'll just ruin everything and I don't want to fall out.
