I posted about this pretty recently just the other day but felt the need again after seeing a rather infuriating Twitter/X post (some may have already posted about it here). I saw a post from someone mentioning about educating men in schools about how to treat women (and of course nothing about also doing the same for women on treating men) and someone posted in agreement and mentioned something about a future safer for women. As usual, men treated as disposable and not mattering. Men are victims of violence and harm just as much as women are, from both women and men alike (and men are certainly victims of female violence much more often than many realize), but as always it's only women's safety and welfare that matters.

I hate this so much, not only is it horribly misandrist but divisive as well. Pitting men and women against each other and as usual infantalizing women and minimizing male victims. As usual men are disposable and don't matter, whereas it's a national crisis for women being threatened. And don't get me started on the "educate men" BS. Many women behave just as inappropropriately with men and mistreat/abuse men just as much, and yet they continue to never be held accountable. It sickens me. It goes to show how misandry continues to be upheld and re-enforced. It's a no-brainer to have a safer future for both men and women, and to equally educate both but as usual, men's safety and welfare continues to be flushed down the toilet.
