Redpill likes to say "all women want attention so they don't deserve it" meanwhile men want sex and they deserve it.

The line about attention probably comes from the fact that misogynists like to dismiss women as being "attention seeking," even though men also seek attention plenty of the time. People vary in how much attention they seek; I don't think it's a gendered phenomenon.

It's also fine and normal to want attention sometimes, for people of all genders.

I believe the need for attention is first and foremost a question of whether you (or in this case a woman) is more introvert or extrovert, with the latter enjoying being the center of attention, and the former being glad about having some quiet me-time to recharge from all social stimuli.

I'm a woman (introvert), and my ex (extrovert) demanded constant attention from me, to the point that I felt exhausted because I felt like I don't have any time for myself and with my own thoughts.

I personally don't need constant validation and attention from my man, but I am only one woman. I haven't observed any specific tendencies in my social circle or family, and I couldn't find any studies on this topic either. So even if the need for attention were higher for women it can't be significant. But I'm open to be proven wrong if anyone knows some interesting studies.

Do men not like attention? It seems like they must otherwise why are they so upset they aren't getting it and women are?

Do women not like sex? If they don't, how can men justify trying to get sex with women and being so mad women won't have sex?

If women love attention like men like sex so much, why do they complain so much about attention?

If women like attention, why aren't we on dating apps where we could get scads of validation and attention?

I think it's talking about validation, via the RP lens women will do a lot for attention just like men will do a lot for sex. For women it makes the time they spent getting ready worth it or the time men spent fixing themselves instead of sitting around watching anime worth it. The RP says that men can get plenty of attention from women but it means nothing until you get sex.
