Hello.

I’m a licensed mental health therapist. I got a tinder match who started off really strong, and texted me a lot over the course of a Sunda(I felt guilty for not replying until later in the day, I couldn’t keep up with their texting). I spoke to her and she seemed well enough to do, but I also felt she might not even be real.

Anyway she invites me to meet up that night, but something didn’t sit right so I suggested the next day(I was prepping for a trip to Japan and really busy). Anyway the next day happens and I’m still uneasy about meeting up, but I follow up hoping it would be a simple meeting/cup of coffee. This person invites me to a dog park because they were dog sitting, usually I would be cool with that but it just felt a little odd and their texting habits had shifted so I wasn’t feeling it.

I declined to meet and gave them my reasons, this chick was also 34 years old and telling me her big step in life was starting a bachelors in art. Also other highly suspect things in their profile(the day prior I responded more to the messages and hadn’t noticed how many red flags were in their profile).

Anyway I tell her how I really feel, and then she messages me “fuck you” and I block her.

Then the next day I receive a message from my state licensing board that this person filed a complaint against my license that I abused and sexually harassed them.

I also just by sheer random googling myself saw this person made a series of incendiary tik tok videos with my face and business address and my license number saying I harassed and abused her.

I’m not really worried, in my field people do stuff like that all the time and the board only cares if it’s complaints from actual clients. Also I looked at a few of the persons other tiktoks(sent them in as evidence to the board as well) and her content largely consisted of making videos ranting about people she doesn’t like for example a bunch of videos about a landlord who evicted her, or how corrupt the us is and how evil money is.

In one of the videos about me she commented that tik tok removed her story about me but she will continue to post it and doesn’t care.

Did I mention this lady is 34 years old, and I’ll be honest the worst I said to her was that I physically can’t date someone with endometriosis(she proudly had that displayed on her profile and that was something I was upfront about not wanting any involvement with her for on the day of the weird dog park invite).

I’m not really worried. Although I don’t like the idea of her putting my license out there. But this person used my image, some of my mental health marketing profiles, lied to my states board, make a false complaint of sexual harassment, and also posted my address in her incendiary video.

The board said I’d hear back around beginning of September so I’m waiting for the dismissal letter. But I am looking at potentially getting legal representation because false reporting and defamation is definitely a crime. And I don’t like the idea of anyone man or crazy 34 year old women targeting peoples jobs/businesses/professional licenses as part of personal vendettas because they can’t handle rejection.
