If you are routinely trying to strategize how to get your partner/romantic interest to do what you want, your relationship is either not viable to begin with or you are a manipulative narcissist (or aspiring to be one). Which in the case of people who ascribe to RP is usually the latter. Relationships often require a conscious effort to work on bettering communication, but that does not involve any of the following:

  • "negging - insulting, undermining and belittling your partner
  • "dread gaming" - purposefully inciting jealousy and trying to make your partner feel insecure about themselves and the relationship
  • "spinning plates" (keeping your "options" open)
  • ignoring your partner, either overtly or by pretending to listen to them
  • trying to appear too busy for them and pretending you don't have time for them
  • performing "shit tests" on them
  • "maintaining frame" - asserting that your interpretation of reality is objective and theirs isn't
  • analyzing everything they do and reducing everything that happens in your relationship down tosome RP theory
  • various other ways of trying to undermine your partner and assert power over them

All of these things are manipulation and control tactics designed to fuck with someone mentally/emotionally and can amount to abuse, they are not just harmless little tips to improve a relationship, let alone guiding principles for establishing/maintaining a healthy relationship. People in healthy relationships don't do this shit and neither do people who genuinely love their partners but want to improve things. A person who wants to have a successful, longterm relationship and who loves their partner would not try to use subversion to get what they want. If your relationship is so unfulfilling that you feel a need to engage in this kind of psychological subterfuge it's either not tenable to begin with or you are the one who is the problem. RP tactics won't maintain/improve a relationship and won't help you find a quality partner either, most women who are mentally sound aren't fond of being manipulated or controlled. This shit is really only helpful if you're intentionally trying to sabotage your relationship, or if you're targeting women who are already psychologically fragile and trying to further damage them. Basically - no one with moral integrity who strives to be a good person would purposely use any of these tactics, let alone on someone they care about.

Open, thoughtful communication is far more effective for a relationship than any of this garbage is.
