I would say this is not ok. Obviously there is some level of attraction between them or they would not have matched with each other and gone on a date. Why does he need to be friends with a woman he finds attractive? He should find some guy friends instead.

Start with understanding and acknowleding how you actually feel, and stop worrying if your supposed to feel that way.

Then approach him honestly and openly with that.

I can tell you that if I was serious about her then I would be uncomfortable in that situation and would tell her that. The big question then is how she responds. Does she deflect and gaslight or does she take my feelings seriously and is able to talk about it.

Seriously, this is immature, like male "shit testing." He's either trying to make you jealous or he's completely oblivious. Either way, definitely not something you need to deal with unless you want to lead an immature man in the relationship.

I would not be okay with this. Offer to go with him if he wants to meet her and be friends you can go and be friends with her too. If he says no or doesn't like the idea then there may be some feelings there that he isn't saying although this is highly speculation.

I'd talk to him about boundaries. Say you would like for him to make friends, but you're not comfortable if he's one on one with another female on his own drinking (especially - if that's something you're worried about)

My husband cheated and his reasoning was that he wanted to have dinner with a beautiful woman. (I know, how degrading). Don't let him strong arm you about this. If this is what he wants then he doesn't want a committed relationship.

I applaud his honesty, though he withheld this information at first. Theoretically, it can be entirely innocuous. I am male; I have known a female friend for a decade, whom I've met on a dating website. We never had anything sexual, not even touches; we are indeed just friends. However, we both were single. What he is doing is disrespectful, regardless of the type of communication with another girl. The only excuse is he is too young and doesn't understand that. I made stupid mistakes like him at his age, too.

Of course it's ok, us girls are meant to please men. Men have needs to be with other women, to express their masculinity, this is in their nature. You'd rather castrate your man? He isn't your possession or anything. You should be happy he told you but clearly you didn't make him confortable enough, so he is insecure about your support. Full text: Hi RPW, seeking some advice about this situation. My boyfriend is lovely. He’s 26, I’m 22. We met on a dating app a few months back.
He’s from a different country, and although he is sociable and friendly he doesn’t have many friends here, just a few.
I was speaking to him on the phone tonight. He told me he will be meeting an ‘acquaintance’ tomorrow evening. I asked for more information about who it was as he seemed hesitant to tell me any more, and he told me it was a girl he met on the dating app in February. He’d never mentioned her before this. He said she is about his age and an athlete. Apparently, when they went out (before he met me) they weren’t each other’s type, they only see eachother as friend, and now he wants to go out with her tomorrow one on one, to get a drink and have a chat.
In all honestly I was quite surprised. I’m not sure how I should feel. Is this ok in a relationship?
