I noticed this in coding-related classes when I was in college too. Pretty much all the women (all 5 of them, in a class of 150) asked for help with every single problem

Women in every career get a lot of help from their male coworkers. In life in general men help women far more than women help men. In our society we just expect men to do certain things for women. But if you were to expect women to do something just because they're a woman you'd get in trouble for being sexist.

Women either can't do this work or won't do it. Men doing it ensures the work gets done correctly and properly.

I would imagine that helping colleagues out is a good thing.

So if a male colleague needs help they just ignore them?

I’ll admit I’ve done this in law. Never done it for a man. Which isn’t always a good thing. There were times I’d have preferred a male co worker to let me know he had no clue and needs me to take over than mess it up.

But I’ve taken trials off crying co workers before for sure

Do men in health careers get ANY help from their female co-workers? Especially to the same level that a male co-worker might help a female engineering co-worker? Feel free to maintain a reductive, misandrist outlook. But I doubt most individuals would come to the same root cause as you. (And, even if that was the cause, doesn’t that automatically demonstrate that men place love/romance higher than women? Just using your same rudimentary logic. 😂)
