Nice guys get "trapped", because women chronically virtue signal about their desire for morality, while mate selecting for men who are often absent of morality. It has nothing to do with men being confused by language, and everything to do with them being confused by deceit.

The truth is women place a very low priority on morality and personal treatment to the point that if the person that they are with does posses those things, it's only because they possessed other traits such as wealth and physical appearance first and foremost.

“don’t be principled, follow the crowd!” that’s what you sound like.

Develop a set of values based off what you think is right, live by them but also be open minded enough to discuss and assess the values of others (since there is always a way you can improve your own, but also know when one’s value system is worse) - have a moral compass and stick to it, but don’t drop it all or sell out for the sake of socialization.

You are of course right - the perfect example might be SS members who were successful in Nazi Germany, and then were also successful in democratic Germany, they've just adjusted.

It is extreme example, but yeah - you cannot win the war against everyone just by yourself, if you think that you can or that you should die on battlefield - then you are just naive and this is not something that girls respect ;)

Nice guys just hide their lack of self confidence behind their seriousness, sincerity and morality. That's all there is to it. If you never try anything, you never risk getting rejected. If you are always nice and accommodating, the worst you will hear is "let's just be friends". So the nice guy assumes he wasn't nice enough and has to be even nicer so next time she says "let's just be bf/gf". Still never making any moves.

It would have This is where “nice guys” get trapped thinking that they have a good moral compass ( I’m not agreeing that theirs is good , but they think it is ) and believe that it should benefit their social life. It’s the same trap when boys see girls dating “assholes “ that have bad moral compasses , but good social ones. “Nice guys “ get confused.

That’s because nice guys like to live in their own little world where they deserve a hot girl for being so nice to her.
