Strangely enough, female lawyers work well for men in divorce cases may be because they know how women operate. I’ve seen a couple of divorce cases in my close family and the female lawyer they hired (both male cousins divorced 1 year apart, hired the same attorney) was a real shark. She fought really well for them. She brought both cases to a very reasonable one time settlement with no alimony.

Judges are older. Usually 60-80 with a completely different mindset. For example, Tyrese is getting divorced and the Judge completely ignored his prenup. His ex wife asked for 450,000 dollars upfront for child support instead of getting it on a monthly payment. The judge went from "You have a right to a hearing on whether or not to pay from 0 to 450k". The next day the judge told the ex wife's lawyers to create the order to make Tyrese pay 450k and the judge signed off without giving Tyrese a hearing. These judges are apart of the problem.

They get paid for it, and I had read recently that part of that TITLE IV D money they're stealing from you, the fees, etc, goes to fund their retirement plans.

I thought I read that in many states the incentive is to hit men for child support and alimony because it's somehow supports the judicial pension fund in that state. There's all sorts of incentives to fuck men over these days.

They're TradCons, and TradCons don't care about MEN, they care about SOCIETY, so they just want men to stfu and take their slave asses back to the plantation to keep society stable and please the females.

Also, if they're older, their justification is similar in mentality as the "boomers" who say people need to move out at 18 and buy a house just like they did, except when they did it, houses didn't cost half a million dollars with damn near 10% interest, inflation, and stagnant wages.

They are part of the problem and need to die, we need a simpicide, it's the first step to fixing a society. Get rid of the weak men in real men's way.

Psychopaths happen to have the traits that help to climb up the power ladder in society.

Also, the laws are anti-men. So if they apply them as-is, men get screwed.

And it's their job to apply laws, not to bend them or rewrite them.

It's like watching other guy or family f*cking themselves up with their own choices - but they aren't related to you in either way and you know they wouldn't care about you. So they basically don't care. Plus it's their job. And besides all that, let's make it clear about judges and how they make a decision, unless they're corrupt: they'll read the law and practices and apply these practices. They can try to interpret it in some way if they REALLY wanted and thus endanger their own job and future, so it's extremely unlikely even if they're sympathetic with your case.

It's like asking yourself why a judge in a dictatorial state would punish you for insulting their supreme leader or something. It's the law of their country.

A fun fact - SCOTUS and supreme courts in general, are a deus ex machina approach to keep the system tilted the way you want it to be and thus they serve as a way for certain politics to impose a specific course for their country and impose a certain "worldview" in the mindset of their ~~peasants~~ citizens.

If you want a good historical example, just look how Supreme Court never even thought and nobody even dared to question i.e. slavery across the world. If you want a good "US" example of historical matters, look no further than a literall Holocaust of Holocausts, extermination of Indians. They actually appealed many times to SCOTUS - and SCOTUS always ruled in such manner to continue with these practices until the goal was achieved. If you want DEM vs REP example in our more recent history, look no further than Gay marriage SCOTUS ruling against California referendum and how years of work afterwards. Or you can look at more recent Roe overturning by Trump's judges. But let's all pretend these judges aren't literally making up laws and forcing everyone else to follow it - despite the fact that the three-way divison of power doesn't allow judiciary branch to have such authorities. You can make a safe assumption that Iranian Guards of Revolution (constitutional category over there) are another example in countries that are outright authoritarian, since Iran always was and still is an authoritarian state - in such countries you always have an army structure that acts like deus ex machina to keep the regime in power and to keep a desired course and instill it in the mindset of their ~~peasants~~ citizens.

Think of everyone in the family court room as there to only get $$$$ out of the deep pocket in the room.

The whole system is based on redistributing the money of the deep pocket.

Your lawyer, the opposing lawyer and the judge are all on the same team. They are more like coworkers, than adversaries. They exist to divide the man and woman, extract resources, and get $$$$ for everyone in that court room.

The whole system is built on divide and concur. This is for profit, parasitic, government at its worst. It doesn't really help, it just makes the problem worse.

The judge is there to uphold the system he works for. If he was there to create peaceful, just, solutions the system would crash and die.

To play devil's advocate here and to give a different perspective. Men and women are not property that are owned by the other in a marriage. A marriage at least in the United States is an at-will voluntary Bond. How is the judge supposed to say a woman isn't entitled to a fair share of the estate in a divorce? It's a really touchy subject because as a man I fucking hate that women can walk away with half an Empire but on the flip side most Empires wouldn't be the size they are without the partner. Imagine a relationship where a man refuse to have sex and mistreated his wife emotionally which drove her to seek comfort in the arms of another man. You're saying because her husband was a bag of shit and mistreated her should be able to keep everything because she cheated?

It's really hard to answer any of these questions without a ton of context. Every situation is unique so that's why many states don't care if someone cheats or someone has a criminal record or whatever else

Is the settlement judgement supposed to be impacted by the reason for the divorce? That seems like a state law issue, not a male judge issue, so activism might help fix that!

I will say, when it comes to settlements, I think it’s easier for women to get so much because the family dynamics, and thus family court, is still in the 1950s. If a woman can claim that she does all the domestic labor + works you’re getting hosed in court. They’ll see her as a helpmate that supported their spouse so that he could achieve his career success, while sacrificing her own.

A good judge will not let their personal beliefs affect their ruling, just the law. I have seen male judge not be happy with but have to rule a certain way many times

Edit to add: need to go to legislature to change laws not judicial system
