Women create a narrative to belay and shunt off this guilt. They build a story in their own mind over time and act it out for onlookers. They blame you, even though they are the one who wants divorce. Society generally blames the man, even when the man wants the marriage to work out. They are seen as not good enough or defective. If the man was worth a count, she’d have stayed! Bullshit.

Don’t believe her rewrite of who you are. You are worthy of love. Your love matters. You are a loving father and likely a darn good husband to boot. Her delusion does not define you.

As for the wife’s narrative and rewrite of reality, It’s like the old adage: a lie is not a lie if you believe it yourself.

When you recount this statistic, many women will still blame the man for the failed marriage. Men cheat, are abusive or are lazy many women will use to excuse the epidemic of female led divorce. But you know what's interesting? Lesbians divorce at twice the rate of gay men.

The problem is that men haven't learned to adjust to the modern woman.

We still have this dream of husband wife children white picket fence dog in the yard. Truth is, modern women have zero problem divorcing you on a whim. They are also cheating more than ever before.

While they have changed over the past 30 years, men are still stuck in the same mindset. Just look how some men react the minute their wives mention the D word.

Now I'm not suggesting men start acting like those RP lunatics or that every woman is like this but guys wake up and realize here today gone tomorrow is a 50/50 possibility with her pulling the trigger 75% of the time and if you're the bread winner with no prenup you're making her decision even easier.

Women will be the one that filed for divorce, but that doesn’t mean they unilaterally ended the relationship. Alotta Guys will suffer in a bad relationship for their whole life, to avoid the temporary pain of loneliness, asset loss, rejection, etc. Guys will put up with many poor qualities of their partner, be resentful, but never follow through on an ultimatum and leave. Usually by the time a woman files for divorce they’ve given their husband opportunity to resolve longstanding issues, but guys mentality is often to only take action when it’s too late.
