This got me thinking. If doctors have malpractice insurance, then why don’t prosecutors have wrongfully accused insurance? In cases such as this one, the wrongfully convicted should receive compensation in the millions and it should be paid from a fund that is mutually funded by prosecutors with each one paying premiums based on their track record and their assessed risk of wrongfully charging and convicting a person for a crime they did not commit.

The wrongful conviction rate for black men is nothing to ignore. In a lot of ways it showed us where men’s rights were going . False accusations for rape assumptions of guilt . Lack of concern for quality of life .

Cases like this are exactly why the death penalty should be abolished. Imagine if this man had been executed in the 70's and now 50 years later we realize he's innocent?

We can never make 50 years of false imprisonment "right" but at least he gets to taste freedom now.
