A couple of days ago I posted how my ex wife flipped out when I told her I was dating someone new. I think her desperation is coming from a failed relationship. I spent time with my friend B yesterday after work. His wife is friends with my ex. He had asked what was new and I told him that I have a girlfriend. He congratulated me but informed me that he knows because my ex had face time with wife crying after I told her about my girlfriend. He said that she seemed very upset but it’s no longer my problem and hasn’t been since she filed for the divorce. He went on to say that she has no grounds to stand on being upset about me dating and that she needs to move on. Then he let it slip. “I’m sure it was tough for you when she told you about the guy she was talking to”. Excuse me, what? She didn’t tell me about that at all! Then it all clicked, it’s like when that last piece of the puzzle slides into place. No wonder she suddenly started thinking of us again lmao. He lifted a huge weight off of my chest without even realizing. We hung out for a bit more then I thanked him for making my weekend and I headed off to see my girlfriend. Stay strong my dudes. Life is overwhelming but God will show you the path. Just gotta close your mouth and listen.
