I met up with this girl at the bar this weekend, who I had hooked up with a few weeks ago. When we saw each other she came over to me and we flirted/talked for a while.

We had planned to get drinks during the week but it never happened. So I asked if she still wanted to get drinks and her response was, yeah you never asked me. So I tell her a day that I’m free and she says she it works.

We were texting until like 4 am on Saturday night. My last question is that “so I’m going to see you Tuesday?”. She didn’t end up replying and now it’s Tuesday so I’m confused. The least she could do is tell me that she’s busy.

Anyways I’m considering sending a follow up text, like “are we still meeting or not?”. Part of me thinks it’s a good idea since if she still doesn’t respond then I’ll have my answer. I get that sometimes people see messages but forget to reply, especially late at night.

But I feel like she’s not dumb, she must remember that we were meeting today and that she didn’t confirm plans. The other part of me thinks it’s redundant to send another message. Since it comes off as desperate and I’m just making excuses for her. If I have to send another text just to confirm plans, it seems like I’m forcing her rather than her wanting to.

If she doesn’t respond I think I need to invest even less time and energy. I will likely see her at the bar again, but I don’t think I’ll bring it up if I talk to her. I don’t want to project my insecurities. But at the same time, I don’t want to say hey it’s fine for blowing me off.
