You can be flirty/sexual in low(er) risk ways.
For good examples of this Craig Ferguson and Russel Brand.
She could be explaining what she likes about pottery classes, "I love making a mess with my hands, dirt flinging everywhere, and creating something beautiful with other people"
(raise an eye brow, dramatic pause)
"We're still talking about vases right?" Or "Are you describing a hand made flower pot or an orgy?"
This is powerful because it triggers her emotionally. There's the tension built by your pause, then you release it with a joke. It puts the 'blame' for sexualizing the conversation on her.
One of my favorite canned lines is, "I don't kink shame." Can be used with anything you don't have a better response for.
Once had a girl tell me, "My dog was being misbehaving so I wanted to spank her."
"Note to self, misbehaving is rewarded"

God I love craig Ferguson. He is what ive always wanted to be socially.

I once had a partner tell me this is how she flirts with men. She just slowly turns everything sexual. Pretends to misinterpret things, etc..
I take a softer approach, and use my sweetness. Instead of making sexual comments I'll comment about how something makes a girl look really adorable, or how cute it is that she does X, etc...

I once knew a girl like that. She had a goofy sense of humor but wasn't being afraid of being sexual. These type of girls are more easygoing and relaxed personality wise.

You commenting about how adorable or how cute she does X is not going into the sexual zone at all. As stated earlier in this post, misinterpretation and teasing or twisting the meaning of her sentences or actions is the best way.
In one of his episodes Craig Ferguson does the following which I think anyone can follow to start a sexual conversation:
"You know I can analyze dreams. Why don't you tell me one of your dreams." She'll say something. Then you say, "that's a sex dream".
Just take care that the dream she shares with you is not based on a sensitive topic like death or her family or something like that. Happy hunting😉

Fuck the best way, people need to do what works for them. I don't feel the need to make things directly sexual. She knows I want sex. You just need some kind of tension. What I do builds that.

Do you have success with that approach? The problem I've been having lately is kinda two or three fold. I was married for a decade and divorced right before the pandemic so I didn't get much dating on. The marriage and divorce itself took a toll on my self esteem. I had always been somewhat overweight but before I got married, when I would get somewhat in shape, I had no problem speaking to and picking up women at parties, at their workplace, hell even one time I was doing some court ordered volunteer hours at a food bank and noticed these two girls checking me out and then giggling etc. Picked one up and took her home.
Anyways after the pandemic and divorced I was the heaviest I had ever been so that put another huge ding in my self esteem so I started doing the keto diet and I also happened to start a job that required me to be on my feet for 8 hours and also doesn't really lend itself to taking a break to sit down and eat so I also do some intermittent fasting. Usually it'll be one meal a day or OMAD which, combined with putting my body into fat-burning ketosis mode, has allowed me to lose 48 lbs in about 3 months. I'm down almost 3 pant sizes, man boobs almost completely gone. Even my face looks thinner. The problem I'm having is that I'm still putting off "nice guy" vibes. I say this because I regularly get comments like "you're so sweet" or "you seem really sweet/kind/nice" so I really want to dig into my latest interactions and see where I'm giving off this nice guy image.
The best part is that I did this all for myself so for instance when I go out to the bar, I have my own pool cue and I go there with the intention of playing. Sure I dress up, especially since I've been able to finally buy clothes for the first time forever and I love the way the clothes fit.
My point was, maybe it's the weight loss or maybe it's the self-assured attitude. The one that says hey I know I'm dressed nice and look good but I'm here number 1: to play pool, and I may or may not spend my valuable pool playing time talking to you but I definitely will not be giving out free compliments, attention or drinks. If I meet a girl I truly vibe with, I will usually invite them to play a game of what I like to call "Pool 101" which is a nice way to get close to them and initiate some touch here and there when you're showing her what shots to take and how to take them. The game also lends itself well to a little teasing and negging, all things that can be used to turn up the sexual tension. I also make sure not to expect to get a phone number. If it happens, great. Even better is when I see them next weekend and I get a huge hug and "Hey fictitious-name!!!"

If a woman is calling you sweet, I would take that as a major signal. Maybe just ask them out/ ask for their number before they go.

At what stage of sexual escalation do you struggle? It’s not like one single step from meeting to fucking
Do you keep eye contact? It’s the most simple way to escalate
Do you touch them physically? Still pretty simple, just don’t linger unless they touch/flirt back
Do you take risks after that, like making sexual innuendos, jokes, or even touching sexual areas like their neck, thigh or ass?
Or is it after making out you struggle?
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
for me it's that I'm too dumb to think of sexual innuendo / jokes in the moment D:
[–]JustWilhelm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Don't touch people's "sexual areas" without their consent jfc
[–]Cookies993 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
All the steps leading up to touching their neck, thigh, and ass IS asking for consent.
[–]JustWilhelm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Light physical flirting is not consent to touch other areas. I can't imagine ever touching someone's arse unless I've had physical or verbal consent. It's asking for trouble.

What you are referring to is showing sexual intent. You can show this in many ways, but eye contact, vocal tonality, your vibe and overall body language will convey alot of this. You can talk about anything and sexualize it. Not that you need to do that, but just know your body language and your inner thoughts create most of this.
Take some risks. Tell a girl she's hot. Tell her you would have sex with her 10 times a day if she was your girl. Do it playfully, not serious. Can you think of any other verbal ways to sexualize conversations? Experiment. Try to be in the moment and not care if something doesn't work. You need to practice to learn how to calibrate properly.
Just know, to learn new social skills you have to challenge your ego. You can't just do what feels comfortable. You will have to start taking some risks by sexualizing conversations.
You can also experiment with compliance tests. Try anything that seems to sexualize the conversation, see what feedback you get. If positive, then keep going. If negative, then pull back a bit, try again after she's more receptive.

“To learn new skills you have to challenge your ego.” Sir, this is legit advice! And can be applied to anything. Wow. Thank you.
I thought you weren't supposed to call a girl hot and compliment her clothes, hair etc. instead?
[–]Chicagoj1563 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It depends on the context. I'm suggesting to do it kind of like a side comment to sexualize things. Not in a way where you give your value away.
Say it in a way to self amuse and pump up your state. Your not seeking any validation from her and you don't really care about the response. Your just showing your a man, she's hot, you notice it, but its not a big deal. Its just something you notice in the moment.
[–]JustWilhelm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't get it. Can you give me an example?
[–]CocoBabeNYC 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You need to start being more honest. Gave your fears.
[–]Therocksays2020 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Your question is super vague What are you struggling with? Like what part of it?

You just have to start somewhere. Trial and error.
The other day I had someone I matched tell me they really appreciate my friendship. My response was something like "You know I see you as more than a friend right? That I'm pursuing you?" and yeah, we're on track 😊 I've never done that before, it was just trial an error.
You are going to turn off women, but that's just kind of the position were put in by society as men. We're expected to take charge, which ultimately means we have to take risks. Failure is apart of the process.
Wait is this before or after asking her out?
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're just afraid of rejection which will happen whether you're honest and blunt about your interest or not. Letting a girl know you like her without hiding behind vague statements will save you lots of time to do other constructive things.
Rejection is inevitable mate.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Look her straight into the eyes, be close to her, get touchy, play with some flirting, keep the tension. Friends don't do that.
Not the OP but that "being close" advice is confusing to me. Trying to be physically close to someone artificially is too contrived and what if she doesn't want to be physically close. Also a risk of a boner depending on setting if you're too physically close
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Only slightly closer is enough, if she likes you, she will be very eager to stay close to you. That doesn't mean taking someone's space but rather making her comfortable with your close presence, your scent, showing closely all your features etc.
Ok. Well at least I don't need to worry about this now since I'm focused on clubbing interactions. Dreading the day I decide I need to pull irl
That sucks bro. Just be flirty and charming
[–]Acceptable_Stop_7063 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're just aftaid of rejection. You got to realise getting rejected is better than wondering where you stand with that particular person so you can move on to another person.
[–]FranciscotheBull 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Don't feel any sexual shame. Lots of guys go through this and you aren't the only one.
I would say try and flirt sexually, but VERY LIGHT. If the woman vibes with it and likes it, you can escalate a little bit and/or keep it around the vibe. It depends on the woman and each situation is different so keep that in mind as well. Don't do it too much because it may look like you just want sex (if it is a one night stand, then it that is different).
It depends on the date and how many you have been on, where you and her met, how she takes everything, how the vibe is so take it with a grain of salt as well. If she touches you on the date, you are in the right direction and she likes you.
[–]JustWilhelm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
So why isn't there a sex positive attitude in society encouraging men with sexual shame to overcome that like there is with women (which is great ofc)?
[–]FranciscotheBull 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Well, firstly, it is hard for guys to get sex versus it is easy for women to get sex. Men get rejected more often than not. We value a low/ no body count on women, but women don't want a virgin or a man who doesn't have much sexual experience.
Women who have no sexual partners before marriage have an 80% chance of a happy marriage after 10 years. If it is more than 5, it goes down to 25%.
One in three men are virgins or haven't had men in a year.
[–]JustWilhelm 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Where's the source for this data? This wikipedia page seems to refute your point about men getting less sex
[–]FranciscotheBull 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well, I got mine from the Buraeu of Labor and Statistics and Pew Polls. That is just a general and definition of a term rather than actual numbers.
[–]justahumanf 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You need to flirt with them and with more practice make flirts sexual it's all about doing more practice. there is lots of guides on flirting in internet.
