It depends, what is the context we are talking about here? I am a male model and have had countless women tell me I am attractive. In the open like walking around I may get a comment or two and a ton of chicks checking me out but that’s it. Online dating however… oh boy women are crazy forward and a very large number of them have strait up asked me for sex. I don’t go for those girls but the point is men are wired to approach women. Girls are not they feel just as aroused as we do but they do not act on it as they would like to be approached. So yes without question it helps but you would be way better off learning game instead of pretending to be hot

Hmmm, I gotta think about this a little.

Handsome is like: Wow, you're attractive in a way where you'd look so freaking good on the front of our family christmas card and I think I might introduce you to my mother much sooner than normal so we can both giggle and blush about how easy on the eyes you are. She's gonna say you'll make good looking grand-babies. There's also somewhat of an association of you being well-dressed for your body type and clean cut.

Handsome means that are you probably pleasing to the eye. A guy can be "sexy" without even being that good looking because of his personality or charm. In my mind if I call a guy handsome - I mean literally that - he is probably naturally good looking and takes care of himself and carries himself more mature.

I've never told a guy he was sexy, honestly. It seems objectifying, and I have mixed feelings when men call me that, so I don't generally say it to other people.

I would say handsome just means a good-looking guy. Pretty eyes, nice smile? Maybe nice shoulders?

Handsome is an all around personality with good looks, a stable job, and fashion sense.

“Hot” and “Sexy” is on the beach with abs for days doing that thing guys do where they take their shirt off one handed and I literally drool.

In a different context, at a wedding wearing a suit, in a coffee shop having a casual convo, “sexy” can be “handsome” too.
