I came across this beautiful comic and wanted to post a reminder that going out and flirting MUST be part of your self-improvement journey. You don't self-improve and girls just fall from the sky or sniff your hormones and start chasing you. Neither you self-improve first (say, until you are a millionaire entrepreneur), and then you start flirting. These two go hand-in-hand. One is part of the other.

You will hear many many many times in this sub that you should "stop chasing girls" and instead "focus on yourself". While this is not bad advice, it's only half the truth. And, as such, it can be misinterpreted or derail you from your goals. Your goal (in order to be here) is that you are not satisfied from your sexual life and you want to improve it.

So, in terms of seduction, the "stop chasing girls" phrase means to stop focusing how to seduce that particular girl, or to stop getting your validation from the girls you sleep with (instead rely only on internal validation). And the "focus on yourself" phrase means that your self-improvement actions should be taken under the lens of your goals. Ask yourself: Does this action help me to...

  • meet more girls?
  • get better at flirting / get over my social anxiety / get over my fear of intimacy?
  • get more social in general / gain social value?
  • cultivate masculine and attractive qualities?
  • get closer to my goals (be it a romantic LTR, get more sex/ONS, etc.)?

You don't want to end up being the dumb super-buff guy who doesn't know how to talk to girls. You don't want to be the rich businessman who can only get sex from escorts. You don't want to be the depressive and maniac aspiring artist, or a guru hacker still living in his mom's basement.

If you are honest with your self, you will be honest with your goals. And if you are honest with your goals, only then you will find pure internal motivation.
