I'm saying from a scientific standpoint for this system to be valid it should be able to predict outcomes in some way. A good model of personality types should be able to predict behaviors. Consider criminal psychology and how it can assist in catching criminals. This system does not predict any behaviors from any sources I've seen. But hey, prove me wrong with evidence and I'll admit I'm wrong

The problem is humans are not so psychologically simplistic as to categorize them based on this sort of criteria. Too many things can affect our mood which alters our "personality" type. A little alcohol and inhibitions drop. A little stress and again were different. This system was created by two women and it's about as useful and accurate as you'd expect from anything in the 1940s. It's pervasive but it's scientific validity is highly questionable. Remember there was a guy who hooked up a lie detector to plants and "proved" you could stress our a plant by yelling at it. In my opinion it's all pop culture bullshit.

Yup, that's what I got last time I took a highly modified online version. I don't think MB is complete garbage and I don't think it's perfectly predictive either. It's certainly better than astrology, despite what a few guys are claiming.

I would guess that at any one point, the Red Pill readership is a relatively normal distribution of Meyers-Briggs personalities, but I suppose the philosophy itself probably promotes an attitude most similar to ESTJ or ESTP. The last MB-related website I perused described those types as "executive" and "entrepreneur," respectively.

This is a pretty interesting topic, your personality traits definitely have a huge impact on your life. I think guys that are more logical and less worried about judgement tend to be more successful in their lives.

That's what I come up as whenever someone insists I do one of those silly assessments.

I really view it as modern day astrology though. If someone says "I'm QPXZ" or whatever series of letters they all seem to fit into the same category of person. Kind of like if one person says "I'm a scorpio" and another says "im a pisces" the fact they are into that garbage makes them way more in common then any difference they think the label suggests.

It would seem to make the most logical sense, since we are all striving to become the best version of ourselves. A majority of us would already be Extraverted, Intuitive, Thoughtful, and Perceptive. This type indicator is “The Executive” as well, so it’s obvious that we are more inclined to be this type or something similar because we are trying to execute. We want to become leaders, and ENTP is the most optimal personality in trying to become the best version of ourselves

ESTP.

I was INTJ a year before I got into TRP. But after getting into TRP I broke my dry spell, experienced a light-harem, and got higher quality friends, my introvertedness has pretty much vanished. Social settings energize me so much now and I no longer have to 'recharge' for some reason.

Someone once told me that we typically change who were are every 5-10 years. Something to do with our brain cells and what we are doing to change ourselves. TRP is a huge new shift, so I can see how it could change my entire personality.
