Definitely not universally true. Plenty of women don't have the time or energy for games like that. Usually the ones that want a challenge aren't gonna last long in a committed relationship if that's what you're after.

Hi good question and something that needs to be clarified.

Being chased as a man is very different than being chased as a woman. You can't expect to sit there like a rock and have women throw themselves at you or show up at your house naked and ready to party, unless you are a really good lay or a genuine rockstar.

You still have to be the one to initiate the interaction by going over, telling her what you find attractive about her and finding out if she is the type of person you would like to spend time with. You are not trying to show value, impress, seduce or do any of this shit.

Although it may sound like work, the reality is that you as a man are naturally in control here. You get to choose who you talk to. Women can only choose from the guys that get over their fear of talking to them. You choose whomever you want.

Where guys fall into traps is when a broad is giving them a hard time, is being difficult or not very interested. They start thinking "I haven't shown her yet what a great guy I am, only if I can try harder" then they start pursuing and whatnot. This here is then big mistake. It severely reduces a girl's attraction to you, chips away at your self respect and even if you end up getting her, the sex is usually disappointing.

You say that the person who shows less interest has the power. This is an inconvenient truth and the type of thing you will not read on any dating advice site or on Oprah. But it is a very real concept and I encourage you to practice it. As a man, you need to have full or almost full control of the relationship. Deep down women are insecure and they naturally seek out a guy who will lead and take care of them. You cannot give them the keys to the relationship (whether it's a one night stand or marriage) or they will crash it. I've learned from experience.

It’s important to show intent. So make it clear you’re interested in them in that way by your approach and conversation. Keep it relaxed, don’t be eager. Don’t make it seem like you gotta have her or she’s your only option. If she’s not reciprocating, move on! How to get her to chase? Get her to invest in you. Ask her to do things, get her to win your approval in conversation. Tease her.

How to move forward without looking needy? Give & takeaway: talk about asking her out, and then say you’re not sure if you should. Accuse her: anything you want from a woman, accuse her of doing it. You want sex? Accuse her of seducing you. You want a date? Accuse her of asking you out. Nope it's not a turn off if she knows you like her. Just don't explicitly tell her that, show her instead. If you're too passive or flirt with other chicks more than with her she will actually think that you don't like her and go into auto-rejection that one happened to me once and it's not fun at all (even I wasn't even flirting with those other chicks but it appeared so).

With some women you need to invest more in the beginning so they warm up to you. Being a challenge means that you have to show her that you like her but aren't completely sold on her yet.

So you qualify her if she's up to your standards.

Tbh you wanting to get asked out by her shows that you're afraid of rejection and that's the biggest turnoff off them all.

According to models, the issue isnt if you like her. Its if she feels like you need her approval without any reason.

Most people like to be liked. Thats why genuine compliments works so well. But it should be a "I find you atractive, and hope the rest of you is as good" or "I see your flaws and accept you for them".

Not "youre hot and ...hot, so I say I like you, but mostly I need validation".

Nah, this is playing games. You should like someone and express your feeling everyday, she sould do the same because you deserve it. People should just love intensely, be honest and stop trying to be on top, it's not a competition, it should be a partnership, mutual, no one is better, no one likes the other more. No, there are chase triggers that you can use to get a girl to pursue you. For instance, say she laughs at something really perfect that you say. Just give her a playful back-turn and say, "I'm still not sure about you, what are your two most attractive qualities?" Boom, you've got her chasing you with qualifiers.
