How do you break the physical barrier?

A good start would be to stop calling this thing in your mind 'the physical barrier'.

1) Sit close to her, so your legs and arms are touching. If she's voluntarily alone with you it's on. If you make a move and get rejected you get points for being a man who knows what he wants and goes after it. It's a win, win situation.

2) Grab her hand and lead her somewhere.

(1) Touch her casually first. Brush your leg against hers if you are watching a movie, touch shoulders, then put your arm around her. For more stuff in a position like this just ask her if she's feeling warm enough and grab her hand without asking. Then you may use this as an excuse to check if she's warm at other places as well, maybe touch her shoulders/neck/arm and just keep your hand there. It's important though that she must feel comfortable; if you notice otherwise, back up a little for the moment.
Start caressing her a bit and if not already she will most likely start touching you as well. You may get more sexual at this point by touching her legs as well, but at this point you can also just go for the kiss.
Now if you have your one arm around her, just put your free hand on her neck and make her look up a bit and she will know what's up and most likely not resist kissing you.

What I'd like to add is that you can always touch her a bit when you're talking. It's important that you do this gradually (compliance test) and escalate as much as you can. Also, when watching a movie, you have a lot of time, so keep it slow but steady.

Another thing that is useful is to watch a movie that is funny and somewhat erotic, which gives her an idea of what could happen, turning her on. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang would be a good example if I remember correctly...

(2) First of all, you don't "ask" her back to your place. You have to convince her that it would be a good idea to leave with you, but always give her a reason, because she's not a slut that comes with you just to have sex. Say something like you'd grab another drink at your place and maybe show her something interesting that she just has to see, for example a funny youtube video, whatever.

How do you isolate? Tell her you need another drink and that she should come with you. Works often enough. Or say you want to show her something you have just seen, and after you have left the group if she asks what it was, say that you wanted to talk to her and that you needed an excuse to take her away from the group, but then immediately switch the topic.

1.) I hug her outside the house then place my hand on her lower back and gently push her into the house. During the movie I'll have her sitting next to me. I'll most likely be playing with her hair and occasionally turning her head to make eye contact with me. I'll kiss her after turning her head. If she rejects, I just go back to playing with her hair and I might massage her shoulders too. After that, try for the kiss again. As soon as I get the kiss, I'll start making out and calibrate to whether or not we can have sex or if I should pull back and try again later. It's like RSD Alex says "relaxed arousal" the girl obviously likes you and the more time you spend with her, the more aroused she's going to be.

2.) Tell her friend's "I'm gonna borrow her." Alternatively you can say to the girl "We need to have a serious conversation" then take her hand and lead her somewhere isolated. You could also do RSDJulien's "Afterparty" pull. Say there's and Afterparty then just lead the girl to your house lol.

Just start by touching her arm when you are talking to her, then maybe her right, then grab her wrist like on the inside, almost like your going to hold her hand but don't. Then you slide the P into the V. You gotta start small and work your way up.

the whole point of kino escalation is that there is no "physical barrier". start with easy things like high five, touch her shoulder when you laugh, your legs touch each others when sitting, etc.

You begin straight away. As soon as you meet her. Handshake etc. Then follow the escalation ladder. Calibrate with how far she want's to take it.

IMO I would stick a finger in there while at the movies. If you have a car, do her in your car. If you don't, use push and pull techniques on the way back to your place (or hers).

for the second one I would just kino up to the point where you can move her around the group or pretty much just take her hand and get a cab, no biggie.
