The rationale for the cut all contact with her thing is that AFCs in recovery won't be able to separate things and will continue to cling to and obsess over a girl that friendzoned them ruining any game they might be learning.

The better thing to do is of course to keep them around as friends. Friend friends, without any sexuality whatsoever. Treat them like little sisters. And often they'll later realize their mistake and take back the LJBF.

But, again, unless you can completely separate sex and friendship it's best to limit contact as much as possible or you'll develop a case of oneitis.

If you want to be friends, be friends. If not, move on. Plenty of girls I've failed with are still my friends, but i can appreciate them as people and friends so I keep hanging with them.

They are friends, so treat them like friends.

I got the LJBF from a HB about a week ago -- I'm going to keep her around because she's a solid drinking buddy and likes to hang at one of my lairs. And it's far easier to open a set when your wing is a HB.

Sometimes, it's just practical.

I think your general display of confidence is the most important thing here. I've had a lot of success with social-circle game (despite being socially awkward when I was younger) and I'm the type of guy who makes sure to stay friends with girls even after rejection. Keeping a girl as a friend doesn't mean you have to ACT like the "LJBF guy." Treat her almost the same way you would if you were gaming her, and be confident. Chances are, new girls you meet or try to date won't even talk to the LJBF girl, and if they do, the most they'll hear about you is that you're a good friend. I personally don't "next" anybody unless they're someone I really don't know that well. When a girl says "LJBF," you "next" her by forgetting about the rejection. You don't have to ignore the girl.
