I got hook on Facebook in 2007. Those were the good times for Facebook for me. Just a network of your college friends. You can share your photos of college trips to give opinions about that one professor. However IMO, Facebook caught wind and turned into a pit of filth.

I quit Facebook in 2008 and haven't been back since. I find it to be a complete waste of time. I feel so sorry for those people that live there lives on Facebook. For instance, I almost blew my brains out when I learned that people actually propose to each other on Facebook. WTF!

However, I have to realize that everyone is on Facebook. Facebook IS the social world. If you don't have a Facebook, you don't exist.

I was at a bar a couple weeks ago and I ran into some girls. They went to the same college as me and share some mutual friends. I #-closed with one of them at closing time. She later texted me for my full name so she could look me up on Facebook. I told her that I don't use Facebook. She never texted me back.

I am a social person. I just like my privacy. That's number one for me. Privacy is harder to find everyday. I think I may have to sign back up to Facebook for the sake of the hunt. I don't want to let technology and machine to get in my way again.

However, I do just fine without Facebook. I have Reddit and other forums for my social networking entertainment. The only reason why I want back on Facebook is so I can hunt more efficiently. I'm doing everything to improve my game. I want to become the best that I can be. Maybe I can be friends with Facebook again. I think I need to get over the users, not the technology.

Thoughts?
