Button down shirt or occasional graphic T (but no polos), sweater or jacket if it's cold , dark jeans, leather shoes.

But seriously, I dress how I feel comfortable. That doesn't strictly mean physically comfortable, it means pretty much what I normally wear. Which is usually plain or graphic t-shirts, plaid or cargo shorts, or dark cargo pants and a hoody depending on the weather. I make sure I'm wearing clean clothes and nothing too worn out. You don't want to look like a neck beard who just wandered out of his basement for the first time in months, but flashy clothes doesn't add a whole lot.

Khaki cargo pants and an old worn out Floyd t-shirt from the 70's. There's also a 75% chance I have an 1/8th on me at any given time. Remember, stoner girls put out.

I usually dress as casual as possible when I go to clubs, like chinos and a v-neck. I find it works out way better, and it helps you stand out and look like you're not trying too hard, because ever single other AFC out there is wearing a polo, a dress shirt, or even sweater vests. No hate there but only few can pull it off and look much better than every one else trying to emulate the same attire.

But if I go to a house party I avoid plaid, or anything that can be considered hipster, because too many people do it, other words dress however you like chinos, long sleeve shirt/sweater, jeans, etc. I find this usually works for me and helps me stand out more and be more unique aesthetically to the surroundings.

Depends on where I'm planning on going for the night, but it can range anywhere from an old school Pistons jersey to a cardigan over a collar shirt.

Generally though, I try to go for something that's clean and subtle. No big graphic tees, or flamboyant suits. Just a well-fitting collar shirt and some slacks.

Jeans, cowboy boots, and either a nice t-shirt (patagonia, or something from threadless) or a casual button down shirt (ralph lauren or tommy hilfiger).

Jeans, dress sneaker shoes or some vans, and either a button down shirt (by someone like 7-Diamonds), or a graphic tee (most of mine were bought 2 years ago at Buckle).

It really doesn't matter, as long as is congruent with your lifestyle.

Next step is, as long as it fits with your look, the clothes should fit as well as possible.

I don't just have a fixed thing that I wear, it depends... I carefully and precisely select clothes that go together or colours that match

Whatever you want, but generally I like stuff that has sleeves that can be rolled up, with collars that can be flared open, eg long sleeved collared shirts. So many girls have told me that forearms are hot.
