File under: Making the most of your natural advantages.
Last night while dancing with a girl I had just met, I realized that at 6'6", I tower over most people. And later, as she was plunging her tongue down my throat, I wondered how big a role my height played leading to the saliva-swap.
Most people blindly assume height is a natural advantage in game. Being short is among the most common examples for getting over limiting beliefs. "Tall Dark and Handsome" has become an English language idiom. Sperm banks favor tall donors. Studies have uncovered that tall men are the most romantically successful group on earth, bar none: more than the rich, the accomplished, and the educated.
But if you're tall, your height is a weapon that can hurt you more than help you if you don't know how to wield it. I've composed a few points my fellow tall sedditors can remember to make the most of their height. And I'm very interested in hearing any other points and advice on the subject.
- You can't "fly under the radar" Tall people naturally get more attention (it's a RAS thing). Assume you're always being checked out, so at least look like you're having fun.
- Posture is more important than ever. While talking to a girl whose head barely reaches your nipples, the temptation to lean down to hear her is strong. Remember: stand tall and relaxed and lean with your back against a wall if you can. Let her come into your space, not vice versa.
- Work on your voice. If you're tall, your voice naturally has the ability to be deeper and richer than your shorter friends. Actor/instructor Vercetti of LoveSystems has lots of useful advice on voice. (search around if you can't pay)
- Become the sexy tall man of her fantasies. Develop a self-image of that man whose height mirrors his confidence, and let it shine. Look at examples of some tall celebrities for guidance.
Tall men, what other advice can you share with your equally vertically gifted sedditors?
