Awesome man. Keep that abundance mentality. It's amazing how much telling a girl "it's cool"throws them off. It really takes a hit to a lot of girls egos, they were expecting you to be all heartbroken and pining, and when you're not... it just confuses them.

Man a similar thing happened to me. We spent the previous night together and then a day later she texts me and basically says she wants to leave. I replied saying basically "that's fine, enjoy yourself"

I wish I would have read this sooner, I think I did it wrong and burned bridges. I got angry after being told no, it felt like she'd strung me along again. Got pissed, dropped her off, txted I didn't want to see her again later. Deleted her of FB and off my phone, ignored the couple of txts she sent(following some of the advice here on oneitis).

I got tired of being mistreated and unappreciated/respected. It felt like I was used often for attention until something shinier shows up. Worst part is she seemed to genuinely care about me, but no one can honestly tell what she's saying/doing is true (Looking back I can tell some of the times I got played, she's an expert manipulator. Still, we understood each other deeply, more so than other people. It was funny considering we have the ability to confuse the hell out of each other like no one else can too).

I feel liberated and happier, though saddened because I do genuinely care about her. I want to know if I did this right.

I dumped my ex. Before reading this stuff, among other things, I would get discontent with a relationship but only passive aggressively show it, taking the bullshit. The new me let her bitch and bitch about the dumbest thing I did (not wanting to hang out with her one night instead be with my friends), then asked her to leave (never breaking eye contact). She then accused me of cheating on her (out of nowhere and I wasn't). I told her that was bullshit. Then I told her it was over AND I'd like her to leave. The look was priceless.

Man, I once had a girl break up with me, it went something like this "When I woke up this morning, God made it CLEAR to me that I shouldn't be with you. DON'T TRY TO CHANGE MY MIND!" me: "oh, I wont".

The thing is, I had lunch with my bros earlier that day telling them how I was planning on breaking up with said girl that night, she just beat me to it. Turns out, she spent months crying after that, while two weeks later I was in Mexico with this other chick. Life is grand.

This is great news my friend. Same thing happened to me this past weekend. It bothered me a little bit, but the feeling quickly passed. I realized last night as I was lying in bed that I didn't think of her all day. Felt good.

I haven't been on seddit long, but you touched on a good point. I often see my friends marrying the first women who sleeps with them and I don't understand why they do it. People need to shop around and live life without a SO for awhile because once you're locked in you're owned. By they time guys actually get married they've been owned for so long they don't even remember what's it's like to not be owned. Anyone can get married or have kids. It's not hard or impressive. If the biggest accomplishment you have in your life is something a drunk teenager can do then you have low standards for yourself.
