A little background: 20 y/o, never had a first kiss, never had a girlfriend, getting out of a case of pretty bad oneitits, still have AA but it's not as bad as it used to be. I'm new at seduction and only approached about 5 girls in the last 2 months with the intention of getting to know them better. Never escalated to asking them out, never exchanged names or numbers either. I can hold a decent conversation but my approach skills still suck.

Today was my first in-field approach session, and I was lucky enough to meet up with PUAollie at a mall in Toronto. We've been talking for a little while and decided to meet up and test our approach skills together (sarging with someone who has the same kind of mindset as you really helps your game, I highly recommend it. It's kinda like having a gym buddy, except you're pushing eachother to approach women.)

So we arrive at the mall and talk a bit about our game. After a quick coffee, the game is on. Keep in mind, this is my first time actually sarging, so I'm a bit nervous.

We stand near a fountain and look around. After trying a few stores, we walk into the Body Shop. I come across a cute HB8 redhead who works there, and she starts helping me pick out a Christmas present for my mom. After chatting for a bit, she helps me pick out a set of body washes and similar shit. I told her that her accent was cute (she had an english accent) and asked if she was from England. She said she was and told me a bit about her move here and how she found it weird how in Canada, shelf prices don't include taxes. I agreed and we talked about that for a bit. After purchasing my items, I left the store and met PUAOllie back by the waterfountain.

PUAollie: Did you ask for her number?

I completely forgot to. I was having such a good conversation with her and was just proud of myself for making her laugh and keeping the convo flowing smoothly that it just skipped my mind completely.

Me: No, I completely forgot to.

PUAollie: Go back in there and ask for her number

Me: Are you kidding? That's so random.

PUAollie: Dude, I just went back and asked the girl at the front for her number, it went fine.

I looked at him for a moment, and said "fuck it, this is what I came here to do" (this is where having a sarging buddy to motivate you really helps).

So I walked back in and saw that she was with a few customers. I stood around awkwardly and when she was free, approached her.

Me: Hey, I know this is random but I think you're really cute and I wanted to get your number.

HB8: (smiling) Oh sorry, I can't. I have a boyfriend

Me: (line stolen from Sasha Daygame) Is he real or imaginary?

HB8: (laughing) No he's real, he works at the HMV across the mall

Me: Aww okay, I'm gonna go visit him and make sure he's real (I know it's a stupid line, but I said it in a teasing manner and she laughed). Anyways, take care.

Second girl I noticed while we sat down to eat lunch. She was working at a small dessert place in the food court, was definitely an HB9 and had a sick neck tattoo (as well as being completely covered in tattoos). She looked a bit intimidating, but was generally friendly so I decided to approach her. I waited in line for a minute (there was one customer in line).

Me: Hey, I'm not gonna buy anything, I was just walking by and had to say, you have some pretty fucking SICK tattoos.

HB9: (laughing) Thanks!

Me: How long did it take you to get them done?

HB9: I got them done gradually over the past 5 years.

Me: I know you can't strip at work and show me, but I'm assuming you have them all over your body?

HB9: Yeah I do (laughing), I just got some done on my ribs

Me: I've always wanted to get one but I always pussied out last minute (I guess that doesn't really demonstrate manliness, but whatever, she laughed)

HB9: Oh no, they actually don't hurt much

Me: I heard getting them done on your knuckles or on bone hurts the most.

HB9: Noooo on my ribs hurt soo much more, places with a lot of nerves tend to hurt

Me: Hey you know who you remind me of? That guy from Prison Break

HB9: Yeah (laughing a lot)

Me: Anyways, I just wanted to complement you on your tattoos, bye!

I again forgot to ask for her number, I was just enjoying the conversation so much (and I'm really nervous about number escalating). After approaching, that's what I gotta work on next.

So after circling the mall a few times and watching PUAollie hit on random women, it was time to go, but I wanted to do one more approach before we left. I kept chickening out so I told him to point out the next random HB he sees and I'll approach her. He pointed out a HB7 and I approached her.

Me: Hey. I just saw you standing here and I thought you were cute so I wanted to come talk to you. What up?

HB7: (obviously not interested) Hey. I'm just waiting for my friend, she should be here soon.

We chatted a bit more but it was obvious that she was not interested (she kept giving me one word answers and not making eye contact) so I just ejected. My approach was completely off on this one. I wasn't in the right state of mind and she could sense the nervousness in my approach (I didn't feel confident at all and was just approaching her so we could leave). It was my mistake, and I know what I did wrong, but I did it either way so I was happy. I saw her pass by me later on the subway and she gave me a dirty look. Rejection actually doesn't hurt as bad as I thought it would.

I know this FR wasn't that interesting, but these were all big steps for me in overcoming my approach anxiety and just in general, so I was happy with my accomplishment. I definitely gotta work on #-closing and start practicing kino right from the beginning, but it was overall a positive experience. To all those with approach anxiety, I highly recommend finding a sarging partner, someone with the same mindset as you really helps motivate you to approach.

Thanks for reading!

EDIT: Okay since there's a huge response from Torontonians wanting to sarge, how about we set up a date after the holidays? We'll all go to the Eaton Centre and just spend the whole day sarging and giving each other tips and shit. I'll post a thread in r/Torontoseddit (so subscribe!) soon after Christmas, we'll PM contact info, and take it from there.
