I, personally, would never go on a coffee date. Exactly for this reason. It generally is self-defined as a middle of the day date, possibly before some other evening engagement. It doesn't offer as much opportunity for kino, and without kino, and kind of escalation feels out of place. Skip coffee and just go out for drinks.

If you escalate during the coffee date you can easily pull them back to your place or to the bathroom.

The logistics are golden (as she has set aside time to spend with you), and she can rationalize with her girlfriends for whatever choice she might make (which is the number 1 reason for LMR, lack of rationalization).

I only go on a coffee date if I am busy myself.

I usually try to set up dates within a week of meeting a person, otherwise the chemistry is usually dead.

So if I am busy, and of course the girl is busy as well, and the only time we have is to meet up for coffee.

For me coffee is just coffee, I set up a day3 after.

Don't do coffee dates. Schedule dates for the evening in venues were alcohol is served.

Booze and the cover of night are natural aphrodisiacs, and they'll do more for your game than any line or routine.
