Seddit (and all valuable pickup advice) always stresses the importance of subcommunications, namely body language. However, after months of browsing seddit, I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be much about body language. Most of the advice on carrying yourself doesn't go much further than "stand up straight, shoulders back". I've been following this advice for a while and one thing I notice is that, although sometimes it can be very helpful and by standing up straight I feel a lot more relaxed and confident, there are other times where standing up straight can seem very forced and awkward. It can make my movements very stiff and robotic instead of relaxed, which then makes it feel counterproductive. So I guess my question is, has anyone else had this same issue and know how to fix it?
