When I get going with the lads, we're like a SWAT team of jokes and laughs. Non-stop. That's how you treat girls. Treat them like your friends, like you've known them for ages. Be natural man.

It sounds like you've made these behaviors into habits. The best thing to do is break the habit. Next time you go out to meet women, don't focus on getting numbers; just focus on breaking these habits. If you think of a great joke after the conversation ends, find the girl again and tell her the joke. Sure, it may not be as funny out of context (and she may be confused), but the goal is to train your brain to realize you should say those jokes out loud. Eventually your brain will speed up.

(I realize it may be an awkward after-conversation conversation, but it sounds like she already walked away in the first place. You're not ruining anything.)

I always do what seems most fun to me when presented with a choice, not even necessarily only with with women.

try to check yourself every five minutes or so and ask yourself if this is the most fun you can be or the most fun you can be having.

Seems you still have a little bit of AA. Not so much in the approach part, but in the anxiety part. Normally if you're not speaking your mind, it's because you're afraid of being judged. If you're just looking to befriend girls in general, imagine that they're you're little sister.

As much as everyone says 'treat them like you would your bros', I respectfully disagree. When we men get together, we're rough on the jokes, farts, what have you. You have to maintain a certain level of respect when you're talking to women. Not that you're putting them on a pedestal, but that they may not find your crude jokes as funny as your mates do.

Here is the simple answer - stop thinking too much. Dont think of it as OMG I am talking to a woman, she's a hb10 OMG I need to behave like this or like that.treat talking to a girl as talking to ur best buds.do you blame yourself when you miss out on making a witty joke when you are talking to your friends? Hell no. There is nothing to fix because you are over thinking your conversation. Be comfortable in ur convo.
