Pretty good read and I completely agree with the philosophy.

However, when it comes to a job, place to live, etc. I feel like it's something you should strive for. I don't think you're going to get a job you're, "fuck yes" about, unless you put in some work to get there.

If you're young and just starting out in a career, it's unrealistic to think you're going to have a fuck yes job right away. Don't be an idiot and pass up good opportunities just because you're not saying, "fuck yeah" about it.

To add to another point to this, I think you need that "Fuck Yes" feeling when you start a relationship with someone because if it does in fact, turn into something longer term then the relationship is prepared for it to be knocked down a few notches but still be a good one. For instance, you meet a girl and it's all "Fuck yes" but then in 3 years after you've had a baby and all the bills and past history has come up you've been knocked down a few notches to "Alrighty then" - but if you had started originally at "Alrighty then" you'd now be at "Eh".

I read this article a few months ago and it has really changed how I approach dating. If a girl is being flaky or showing a lack of interest, that is all I need to move on. I was talking to a really hot 23 year old chick for a bit, and all it took was her to say "I didnt get that text" after seeing a "read receipt" that she had, for me to say "Hey I'm not feeling the level of enthusiasm here, take care!" She had a very minor freak out, since I am sure she was not used to guys ending it like that, but I am not going to waste my time chasing any girls. If you arent into me, best of luck. I will be working my ass off on myself and the results of that are tons of girls who are interested, so I'd rather go down that route instead of set myself up for frustration, heartbreak etc.

I followed this advice for a while and was left with no friends and no sex because people thought I was an asshole. Sometimes approaching relationships in this black and and white manner is wrong.

Awesome article. I think anyone dealing with Oneitis or just a shitty relationship in general needs to read this.

I can never understand how people waste their time on people who just aren't in to them/aren't in to them for the right reasons. But I guess knowledge is power, right?

You wouldn’t buy a dog that bites you all the time. And you wouldn’t be friends with someone who regularly ditches you. You wouldn’t work a job that doesn’t pay you. Then why the hell are you trying to make a girlfriend out of a woman who doesn’t want to date you?

I disagree, the dogs behavours can be fixed. The company can be a startup that will lead to a lot of money. And you can attract a women that may not initially be available or attracted.

Any thoughts?

Remember, it’s your job to look for something cool in everyone you meet; it’s not their job to show you. This is life, not a fucking sales convention. Learning to appreciate people you meet is a skill you cultivate. So get on it. This doesn’t mean you have to fall in love with everyone who breathes in your direction. It just means you need to take responsibility for your ability to connect with the people you are meeting.

This is a very powerful mindset that will get you where you want with women and with people in general.

i feel like the whole time i was reading this my mind just begged the question -

what about when people get little to no 'fuck yes's.

it seemed like the most important part. and when it finally addresses that at the end, it abandons readers with a brief spiel about how they just need to improve themselves.

Its a great article in theory but in real life... its not gonna stop us feeling needy or unsatisfied is it?

Although I completely agree that life should not be a sales convention, the reality seems different. That being said, a happy confident attitude will sell itself with no extra effort on your part.

That's the spirit! I let an unhealthy crush go because of that. I always wanted her to like me while she didn't give a fuck about me. She answered my texts, though with hours of delay. When I met her and we had a conversation I did the main part. Long story short, I made it an end. I'm still lovesick, but I feel it was worth it. Thanks for that post OP!

I read this article a while ago, conveniently after a date where the girl showed little signs of interest or enthusiasm. Instead of chasing her, I said Fuck nah. Now I am seeing a girl who is all enthusiastic and happy to see me. Glad I did not waste my time on the other one.
