Sounds like a good way to keep her flirting with you. She's only going to try harder since you're responding half heartedly since she's getting mixed signals. Since she obviously likes you, she's justifying it as you just being shy/nervous which might even make her more giddy about it.

I understand that you don't want to hurt her feelings but you're actually sparing her feelings if you let her off now rather than later. Just let her know you don't see her in a sexual way and if you want to be friends, just tell her. This is the same kind of shit that men hate as well, you're pretty much leading her on even if it's unintentional.

Just don't act on their flirty behavior. respond to messages way later distanced and friendly, but using as few words as possible and if they ask you out tell them you don't have time. Usually everybody gets it after a certain time, but if you have the feeling the other one, who does not get it, is suffering ask him if he has feelings and share the brutal but correct truth that she is great, but you just don't feel the same.

Oh there's a girl I know like that. It's funny as shit when she goes out drinking with my friends. I mean I kino her, put my arm around her but from talking to her she can't carry a conversation. It's like talking to an airhead. So she'll drag us away so we're isolated and want me to kiss her but I won't because I'm not attracted to her. She never gets the hint. And she keeps trying and to me it comes off as desperate and I find that even more unattractive. This girl is a solid 9 but her behavior makes her like a 4 to me.

Have you tried actually telling her your intentions? Girls and guys are the exact same when it comes to confusion over attraction. Wouldn't it just be easier for someone to outright tell you if they do or do not like you?

If you want to just be friends, then say so. Make it explicit and get her to respond that she understands that. If you don't want anything to do with this girl, just say that it isn't working for you and you two should move on.

It's pretty simple when you can break it down. I know it's harder to actually execute because of emotions and pity and whatnot. Just be explicit.

really depends on how oblivious or stubborn the person is. You can try responding with few words as possible, no kino, no teasing, and taking a long time to respond via messaging/calls. If they still don't get it and still coming on strong, then there is no other way than "i just don't feel that way about you."

I personally find it very annoying for girl, who you're not attracted to, to act all "friendly" when I know she has an agenda.
