When I act this way with random girls, they absolutely love it, but about an hour of me rambling and they start joking about how I never fucking shut up. At that point, I start to tone it down because I'm already 'in' and they seem to actually be really into the fact that I am able to tone it down. Or they shut me up with their mouth.

Has anyone seen Julien's new videos? Dude has completely changed his persona after the shitstorm last year. Before he used to be all " I don't give a fuck what I say to girls", and now his videos are literally him justifying how he's not a douchebag. It's hilarious. Look, here's the thing about that video. It's titled "How not to run out of things to say. But the takeaway is actually not what's stated. It doesn't mean that he succeeds because he never runs out of things to say about himself.

The takeaway is confidence sells. Period. And confidence sells enough to overcome a ton of shitty game. Because talking about yourself and failing to connect with a girl by getting her to open up about who she is, is usually enough to sink your chances, by itself. (Unless you calibrate well after the fact.) But if you have enough confidence, you can overcome this shortcoming.

It stands as evidence of the power of confidence, not so much that verbal diarrhea is a useful tactic in of itself.
