I think Seddit is a great place. Unfortunately it has become popular to the point of being mainstream.

I've been in pickup for over ten years. Back in the day, this stuff was underground, and we could share the truth. Nowadays on mainstream sites like this one, you can't share the truth, because anything that isn't politically correct is downvoted, which is a shame for the readers. I suppose Seddit is a good gateway drug.

If you want a post to hit #1 on Seddit, it's easy. Just write feel good headlines like:

"Thanks Seddit! You changed my life!"

"I got so many phone numbers today!"

"Guys! Women are JUST PEOPLE."

"It doesn't matter WHAT you say."

"It's all about how YOU feel. Nothing else matters."

"Looks really don't matter."

While this is all fine and dandy, your scene is really doing itself a disservice. I remember when TOFUTOFU was shamed because of his post about pulling his dick out. Guess what? He was right. Pulling your dick out is incredibly effective if done properly. But if I were to post an article with the title "Why pulling your dick out creates attraction." It would be quickly downvoted, whether or not the content of the article made sense.

Dating coaches I know like to joke about Seddit. About how you can't post hardcore pickup advice on there unless you attach a feel good "Thanks Seddit!" headline.

It's too bad really. But an interesting look into the mindset of the masses. The majority of Seddit's readers are still in the Matrix and fighting against the truth. They are run by their "feelings" and the headlines that make them "feel" bad are usually the ones that will help their game the most.
