Self improvement is a wonderful thing, but shit like that can all too easily be perceived waaaaay the wrong way. It's like asking to kiss a girl. Just avoid it and develop better segues. The risk there is not worth keeping that angle.

I find this to be pretty creepy. I'm sure the girl wouldn't want this posted online. You blurred out her face, but showed pretty clearly where she lived and her general appearance and voice. It wouldn't take 10 seconds to find that house and her for anyone that is familiar with OSU.

Holy shit, the amount of hate you're getting is unreal. Yeah most of these guys would assume something like this fake because they haven't seen pick up artists in action; they're baffled as to how anyone could pick up girls like that. Simple pickup (YouTube) teaches this sort of approach through their project GO. Confident and saying what's on your mind (what most would consider awkward) is actually less awkward than not. You typically don't even need to say things that are even meaningful to get a girl's attention. PUAs show that ALL the time.

Trust me, you'd be fucking surprised how receptive many girls are. It's just that people generally don't have the balls to do anything like this.

Can someone please explain to me why not only is this getting very negative comments, but those comments are also being massively upvoted? I understand that we can all go through sexual frustration and that approaching/dating can be tough, but why not use these videos as a reminder of what is possible, instead of automatically shutting down when you see someone doing well? If you had a look at this guy's Youtube channel, and saw the back story (he used to be severely overweight, and he's been doing self-improvement for a LONG time to get to where is he now), you wouldn't be doubting and attempting to bring him down (which I don't think is working anyway). I haven't checked out this subreddit in a while, but if this video is getting mainly negative feedback, then clearly Seddit is no longer mainly made up of motivated peeps seeking to go beyond.
