So i drop my kid (2.5 years old) off at my exs house at the end of my custodial time.

in the past - i would get the door slammed on me rather violently, and sometimes hostile or sarcastic/witchy comments made in front of my daughter.

My response was to hold out a phone camera out fairly obviously, which put an immediate stop to that behavior and so ive kept it up for about a year.

now my exs lawyer is threatening to petition the custody agreement to prevent this or something. My attorney says its illegal to record somebody without their knowing (which im not - but sometimes she doesnt even look at me). Also, she says that in the future when i want more custody, judges dont like to see this type of thing.

I guess i have to stop, but what am i to do when the inevitable bad behavior comes back?

i dont want my daughter to believe thats normal or acceptable.
