Riding to the gym the other night, I notice a cute girl at a stoplight. I pulled up nest to her and said “Hey. How are you?”. Judging by the way her face lit up, that must have been the highlight of her day. She was dressed very nicely so I told her as much and asked where she was going. She told me that she was going to work. I asked “what kind of job do you do that you dress so nicely for?” she explained that she works ar a Japanese-style bar then asked to exchange contact information with me. We have a date arranged for later this week.

We like to over think approaches and any of us fail to approach because we stall, thinking of the prefect approach until the opportunity passes. A simple “Hello. How are you?” works a fuck of a lot better than not approaching at all.

There is nothing wrong with telling a girl she is pretty. It communicates your intent in a friendly way and takes some confidence to say (as opposed to asking for the time or some shit). I’ve found that negging seldom makes a girl like me more. In fact, they often just think i’m an arrogant asshole when I do and move on.

I used to not approach because I told myself that she probably doesn't want some chode (me) running up and spitting game at her. Maybe some of you still have this problem, but my experience is that meeting me is frequently the highlight of a girl’s day (not because I’m so much more devilishly handsome than you, but because I approached). Even if she isn't interested or available, it feels good to have a positive interaction with another human being, which is something we have too few of. You should never tell yourself “she probably doesn't want me to bother her”
