This is solid advice. I've been that guy who got everyone laughing and then greedily tried to go one joke too far and fucked it all up. You don't want to be that guy.

If you really want to blow her circuits, repeat this pattern several times in one evening. The best venue for this is when seated at a long table: talk to chick -> get to high point -> talk to different person -> talk to chick.

The trick is being able to start and finish a semi-interesting conversation with someone else faster than she can start an interesting one with someone else. This is easiest if you're with a bunch of people she knows (nothing new to say) but you don't (lots of new), but you still manage to be high-value (assume they're relatively staid folks).

The dynamic this creates is one where she basically just sits there staring at you.

Theres actually a Seinfeld episode about this. But I totally ageee, leave on a high note, thats what they remember most.

Part of the reason this works is that people have memories tied to emotions and tend to better remember things that happened most recently.

So when asked about how she feels about you the more recent memories (leaving on a high note) come to the forefront.

This works very well in politics too, in theory. You do some good (some reforms, get the economy back on track, other shit that actually helps...) and leave the scene at its apex, people will remember you as the shit.

But the hunger for power usually grows, so the opposite tends to happen, people overstay their welcome and become just 'shit', instead of 'the shit'.

One time a buddy of mine and I were drinking at our local pub. My buddy left to go to the bar for another pitcher and came back with two women. We started talking and having a great time, with both of us telling jokes and getting laughs (so I thought).

My buddy excused himself for a bit and AS SOON as he left, the two girls instantly lost their smiles and just sat there ignoring me and waiting for him. I tried several times to engage them, but nothing. I eventually left them with the excellent movie line "Let me go get you guys another pitcher of bitch."
