I'm feeling pretty goddamn stoked right now. I just attempted what would be my third cold approach ever on an insanely gorgeous girl - and I actually fucking got her number!! This is a small win for me but goddamn does it feel big.

Was at the cafeteria at my school heating up some food and spotted this phenomenal 8.5/10 African girl siting and eating lunch on her own. I had to fucking talk to her -goddamn was she hot. I have a huge thing for African girls.

I spotted her while classmates were distracting me so I legit like kept taking my food out and resetting the microwave clock until they left me the fuck alone.

Finally, so while my microwave did it's things I sat right across from her on the chair and said hey. Opened up by asking what she's eating for lunch that she bought. Followed up talking about the lack of healthy choices at the cafeteria and the ridiculous prices. Trying to build rapport.

I moved the conversation into what she is studying, why she is studying it, turns out she has just recently moved to my city. Talked about where she used to live. How she is settling and figuring out public transport. Has she made many friends. Does she like her course. Her family and where she's from in Africa. I have some decent knowledge on Africa having travelled there so brought that into the frey and quoted some things in books I've read. Trying to flex my intellect a little. Made her laugh a bunch of times (I'm good at making girls laugh)

Realised I had talked so long that my class had already started back up. So i asked for her number and joked about if she ever needs to call me cause she gets lost in the city she can and she laughed.

I took some advice from RSDLuke and didn't bother asking for her name, she eventually asked for mine. Gave her my phone she saved her number in

Flicked her a message with my name and a smiley face on my way back to class so she had my number.

I've got a few ideas of how to go on from here. Honestly just thinking about calling her up randomly later tonight or tomorrow to chat (I'm good with talking to girls on the phone).

Would love any and all advice! Is that too soon to follow up? What are some ideas to help escalate this? I have a great opportunity to show her around the city so I might roll with that.

Feeling high as fuck atm off this one interaction! Over the moon and it was so spur of the moment and spontaneous and wasn't even that daunting. Keen to see where this goes! If it goes nowhere, I'm just keen to try again :-)
