To me the key to this is that 'not giving a shit' doesn't mean 'not caring at all'. If you were not interested in the girl why the fuck did you approach in the first place?

I believe you SHOULD feel the rejection, and feel that it sucks, but just let the feeling pass and continue to have fun.

It's not about not giving a shit that you got rejected. It's about not giving a shit about being rejected by someone who didn't impress you. Don't go out thinking "what can I do to make them like me". Instead think "let's see if they impress me enough for me to ask them out." If they reject you right away then they just saved you time. If they reject you after awhile then you got experience. You always win in some way and believing that makes approaches easier.
