Unless you want the girl to give up on you, you gotta text first sometimes. Maybe once every two days just send her a picture or text her hey or something, or ask her to hang out. Never texting first is not good.

Text her every few days. Girls typically don’t text first even with guys they’re interested in. Never texting will make her assume you aren’t interested and eventually she won’t be either. But at the same time, don’t text for absolutely no reason. Text her something funny, or a picture, or a meme? But don’t be that guy who says ‘hey whatsup how was your day’

Texting is just used as a means to meet up in real life. Should only be cracking a quick joke then trying to meet out, not writing shakespeare.

I personally never ask questions, especially like "how are you", "what are you up to?" " how's life" " what are you doing today" If i do ask it is combined with some statement. I feel this way i am not asking for value like a lot of people do.

"Hey, how is your day going?" for me it subliminally translates into:

I am thinking about you, i have nothing useful, interesting or funny to say, so please you bring some value into my life and take the lead, because i am not capable of it.

So i will be texting things like.

"Damn i just went to a bungee jumping spot, i fucking jumped!" I need you to blabla for me now because i am blabla.

I am bringing her into my world, with statements, taking the lead, in making conversation and topics,telling her funny and interesting things and showing her my life is interesting.

From there on out you need to calibrate and not become some text buddy or dancing clown that makes her laugh all the time, so i add in enough cocky funny, i don't text all day, i sometimes don't respond for a while, i generally wait longer than her to reply unless i want to "reward her" , i'll let the convo die so she can pick it up.

Most guys with game will tell you don't waste too much time on the texting, but for me i feel i am really good at it compared to my live game, so i will use it to my advantage and probably text more than others.

One thing i do agree on though, don't get into a texting relationship. talk for 1-2 days, than set up a date.

After you had your date and or sex re evaluate, with some girls just texting every couple of weeks one short sentence will be enough to hook up again and others will need more of a constant stimulation. So you send them some stupid memes every now and than.

Another thing, don't get into deep conversations, just don't, cut them off with a joke or just change the topic. Save them for when you are seeing her in real life if you really want to discuss them.

To get back to your question after this long rant, the desperation in my opinion is shown through, the frequency of which you start the texting conversations. If you open her 4 times a day, something is wrong, you are desperate. But if she texts you pictures of herself or some other shit 4 times a day i'd say respond a bit slower, sometimes wait a couple of hours to respond, but don't let the interaction die completely until you have your date either. So try to frame it as if or until she is opening you more and waiting for your replies more. Give value instead of taking it, Don't forcefully stay with topics. Use your texts to portray positive traits you have obviously in a non show off way.

Anyway this is turning into a rant again, peace.

Anywhere you cannot show personality avoid (online, text, etc). Only text for logistics, time and location. ie. we are going out x day.
